Bikes of all sizes, tag a long, child treck trailer for two, car racks, locks, water bottles, helmets, simple map of area are all available. Enjoy the back roads of the peninsula or spend a day exploring Schoodic with lunch from our local deli, hike the trails at the park, enjoy hours just sitting on the rocks at the shore or on the high vista of the Anvil Trail or other trail.

Consider time on an area pond with one of our canoes. All safety gear, car rack, jackets, paddles, even lunch containers for you to keep things secure and cool. Fishing rods also available to rent to ad another dimension to your day. Licenses required for fresh water and available at the town office during regular business hours. Canoes are for use on local ponds, lakes, or streams only. Not for use on the ocean.

Fresh water kayaks, singles or doubles, are also a great option for that special day of quiet enjoyment on that remote lake or undisturbed pond - wildlife viewing at it’s best. Safety gear is provided, flotation bags, life jackets, paddle floats, and simple map of area launch sites.

For those with experience and knowledge of the sea, self rescue, navigation skills, a deep and abiding respect for this area and it’s changeable conditions, sea kayaks may be rented for use. Float plan will be required as part of the rental agreement with any sea kayak. Safety gear is provided. Charts and compass are available if you do not have your own with you.

Security deposit is required for boat and canoe rentals. All rentals are for up to 24 hours. We'll gladly discuss rentals for several days, by the week, or longer.
